Tri-Pacific Software Announces Timing Analysis for UML

Through the Rational Unified Partner Program, Tri-Pacific has integrated this new technology to create Rapid RMA for Rose RealTime.

The integration of Rapid RMA with Rational Rose RealTime was completed in collaboration with a major telecommunications company. Tri-Pacific teamed with end users to ensure that the requirements of the embedded systems and telecommunications industries are well supported by the combination of Rapid RMA and Rational Rose RealTime. “Rapid RMA for Rational Rose RealTime takes the guesswork out of timing and quality issues during the design process which improves product reliability and time to market,” said Jay Abbasi, VP of Sales for Tri-Pacific Software.

The ability to analyze timing information in standard UML through Tri-Pacific's Rapid RMA tool suite is a major breakthrough for software developers. The tool performs a schedulability analysis on timing information gathered from UML diagrams in Rational Rose RealTime. The result of the analysis is fed back into Rational Rose RealTime and used to improve application timing and to correctly assign thread priorities to ensure schedulable applications.
